Bright Flowers |
At close of needle I was working on a formal garden worked mainly in textured embroidery. Again I am trying new stitches. It is looking a bit wonky so far. I need an embroidery hoop I think. I am treating it as sampler for new stitch work and so give myself permission to have it a bit wonky! If it is not too bad I will post it soon.
Happy stitching everyone, Gilly
Wonky is GOOD! Sometimes I drive myself crazy wanting everything 'just so' - when really if it were to reflect the true me it would be full of 'odds and ends'! Lovely flowers in beautiful colors.
ReplyDeletejust love the texture of the checkerboard vase. i love wonky...
ReplyDeleteThe brightly colored flowers have a lovely feel. Thanks for your kind words. -Sue
ReplyDeletelovely happy cheery flowers and i agree that wonky rules. k.
ReplyDeleteThats piece is so beautifully textured it would be great for some of our visually impaired children to feel and make sense of 'a picture'. I make tactile resources for VI kids and you have achieved exactly what is ideal for them........and its cracking looking too lol smashing
ReplyDeleteYes it is cheery! I like all the different things you are trying.
ReplyDeletethis is lovely Gilly, I especially like the ''simpleness'' of the white flowers.
ReplyDeleteThankyou all very much. I am very interested in what you have said about VI resources liniecat. What are the ingredients that I managed to put together? Gilly
